I have to agree with your Shlinker. There are several possabilities. I am never sure how certain posters can be so....well certain.  Negative or Positive.

One question I alway ask is who is selling?  Are the big players selling of buying?  Are they buying, and then selling (pump  and dump).  Probabilities are the best way to predict and I will be the first one to admit, I have no idea why the price suddenly jumped up.  Maybe it co incides some planetary alignment, a buyout, or any of the other suggestions you offered.

Tough to make a decision right now.
