When they took the profit it was well deserved...share price at over $15.
Management probably had nothing to do with the slow down in the bakken, although thay can't deny reponsibility for the poor billing / collecting issue.
However since they still own some 11% of the shares, they took a huge loss for their sins too. I imagine they will be working very hard to recoup these losses, what do you think?
Based on what I have read, the bakken will need to continuously increase the number of wells they drill, just to maintain the oil production at the same level they have, this must be good for PSN in the future IMO.
