Winning and Losing I quote Seymour Dunn, a Golf Professional from the 1920's. "To demonstrate anger is to admit to a weakness of intellect." I think it applies here.
For some, ego gets in the way of this admittance. It is the humble that realize and accept their own limitations as well as responsibility for their own actions. Victory is a way of life, losing comes with the territory.
Why is it that some who have made the same gambit are comfortable while others lash out? No one knows certainly the outcome. It is only how one chooses to view the situation that determines their reaction to it. If the situation appears so dire what is the best course of action, sell?
If one doesn't like the elevator they are on, one can always get off and ride another and for those so inclined, there are always the stairs.
