Q3 2013 consensus

Q3 2013 consensus

Q3 2013 earnings are out next week, and the  Analysts consensus estimate

for EPS is (-33cents) as of today.

RIM has said they will be able to maintain their subscribers' base at 80 million

and their cash position at $2.3 billion.

The Analysts are also calling for a shipment of 7 million phones.

I am guessing it will be about 9 million and over, because

1) RIM sell through per Quarter is over 10 million phones

2) Carriers' inventories are bone dry as pointed by Scotia's Analyst, Gus.

3) RIM has to have more phones in the hands of Carriers for the Xmas seasons

(Xmas is also celebrated outside North America)

So my guess is an EPS loss of below 20 cents.

Other guesses out there?
