Existing Enbridge Pipeline

Existing Enbridge Pipeline

Below is a link to the MGM Investor site. Look for the latest presentation (December 11th) and go to page 4. There is a map which shows the MGM lands and the existing oil pipeline from Norman Wells to Zama Alberta. This pipeline is operated by Enbridge. The oil then goes from Zama to Edmonton via the Rainbow pipeline operated by Plains Midstream.

The existing pipeline is presently flowing 12,500 bbls and has a capacity of 50,000 bopd. However, the Norman Wells field will be done in 5 years so there is potentiall 50,000 bopd.

Notice how the pipeline goes through the MGM lands. If they are planning on twinning the pipeline doesn't that they say that the companies think they are going to get more than 50,000 bopd? More like 100,000+??. To me that is a big discovery. If the Canol is as big as the Bakken, it could ramp up to a lot more in a short time.
