Is it a fair comparison?

Is it a fair comparison?

UBS and TD Analysts saying that RIM might go the way of Palm.

Comparing the last 5 years of Shareholders' equities of Palm and  RIM

Total Equity (PALM) $(414)M $111M $1,062M $581M $492M

Total Equity (RIM) $9,948 M $8,711M $8,036M $7,458M $3,867M

PALM had lots less Equity and cash. The big Carriers were refusing to accept shipments, launches were screwed up and Pam was in a total mess.

RIM is far more organised and enlisting 120 Companies to do tests long before actual launch, shows the confidence they have in the BB10 phones.

Only my opinion
