Is it a fair comparison? UBS and TD Analysts saying that RIM might go the way of Palm.
Comparing the last 5 years of Shareholders' equities of Palm and RIM
Total Equity (PALM) | $(414)M | $111M | $1,062M | $581M | $492M |
Total Equity (RIM) | $9,948 M | $8,711M | $8,036M | $7,458M | $3,867M |
PALM had lots less Equity and cash. The big Carriers were refusing to accept shipments, launches were screwed up and Pam was in a total mess.
RIM is far more organised and enlisting 120 Companies to do tests long before actual launch, shows the confidence they have in the BB10 phones.
Only my opinion
