RE: Not moving

RE: Not moving

Thats a very good question danonino and one that Ive been struggling with myself .

In the end I think it is caused by a number of reasons, one being that this is tax loss season . Those selling now are doing so because they will make money out of it. Otherwise IMO there is no reason to sell at the 52 week low with an official production increase on the way! That would just be a flagrant lack of discipline, letting your emotions dictate your moves which we all know is rarely a good idea!

That explains why people are selling but why arent people buying? That's what I've been struggling with the most. In the end ,and this is just an opinion, I think most people interested in this stock are already loaded and the ones on the sidelines are waiting to see the money thinking they will be able to jump on board once the train leaves the station.

For me the only question is: How much oil are they producing now? If  they are producing more then they were at the end of last year we will be trading higher.  So I guess the question is are we producing more than last year? That's what we'll find out soon and I suspect the sideliners are also waiting for that information...
