Implications to the company are minimal in that insider trading trading inquiries go after individuals but it does leave yet another black eye on NKL as a whole. The more curious part of this inquiry is that it will expand to include all e-mails and phone records by individual investors to the Company and of course, the NKL stockhouse board.
What gets me is that it has taken the BCSC this long to even make an inquiry. IMO, the inquiry is most likely investor driven given all the trading back and forth by management between PCY and NKL as opposed to anything specific pertaining to the July 2011 press release (ie: biggest jump in stock price situation).
To close, just another side show. The important thing is that the resource numbers are not being called into question. If persons recall, the BCSC already took a closer look at those numbers.
