RE: Shareholder Power Against Consolidation Consolidation is a critical step for SSS. Without it, we all take what is left of our marbles and go home. Or more realistically, we all just cry about having no more marbles at all.
Your posting history seems to be more that of soap-box evangelist crying out against any sort of consolidation rather than someone who knows even one iota about the challenges that Stem Cell Therapeutics has faced over the past few years, the amount of money in the bank, the potential future growth of the company, or the limitations to that growth that are alleviated by making it possible to raise more capital.
David Allan made the purpose of the consolidation clear. He has spoken of it in the past. The letter on the site stemcellthera.com is clear and makes sense. It is not padding his wallet in any way. It is the only way to rise above the micro-cap, few-penny stock, that we currently are in spite of all the interesting potential we have.
I appreciate that you are emotional about SelectCore but that business, and that scenario, has nothing to do with this scenario and any assertion to the contrary is pure fiction meant to confuse and enflame investors with fanciful examples.
It may not turn out great for SSS.... i really don't know for sure but I feel better than I have in 2.5 years.
I do doubt that it could get much worse than we are at now. Dead is dead after all. At least his option presents a chance for a longer and prosperous life. If we just sit back and burn cash at 3 cents and have no ability to raise more because of the TSX-V rules, we are just doomed to run out the clock.
