RE: RE: question about stockhouse ad here !!!!!
"And this is Hugh Jampton for Radio Rupert, and I'm here interviewing a Miss Felcity Shagwell, a well known local enthusiast".
"Now, Ms Shagwell you claim to have recently come across a specimen of the rare 'permit' bird?"
Well I haven't seen it yet, but there are some pretty strong indications, and so yes we're all a little excited, I can tell you!"
"These are said to be quite rare and haven't been seen for a very long time, correct?"
"Oh yes, in fact I can't remember the last time I've seen one around here. They normally don't travel this far north. There has been considerable speculation as to their existance and there have been some unsubstantiated reports going back several years, but up to now these have come to nothing, I'm afraid"
"So, this is really good news then?"
"Oh yes, and we're hoping that it might actually nest here"
"Tell me, are there any concerns about its safety?"
"Ah well, this is a traditional First Nations hunting ground, but they've agreed not to shoot it down this year, so we're quite hopeful that it will survive and perhaps prosper"
"Oh excellent, so what are the next steps?"
"Well, we have some amateur watchers set out at several locations, all ready to report back in, so its just a matter of waiting to see if it gets reported.
"And are you getting any?"
"Sorry?"
"Reports.."
"Ah no, not yet. However, after a sighting is in fact confirmed, we'll probably see if we can obtain some financing for a more permanent solution."
"And if any of our listeners want to see for themselves?
"They should probably just keep an eye on the news and I'd certainly be happy to tell them where to go!"
"Nice tips Ms. Shagwell"
"Oh, it's the cold, sorry.."
"Anyways listeners, there you have it.The moment we hear more, we'll be certain to let you know. This is Hugh Jampton for Radio Rupert, signing off for now".
