The mill bottleneck

The mill bottleneck

The mill is the bottleneck. That is being addressed. While the mill expands so to does the mine development. When Tony figures the mill is ready the tonnage and gold production will increase. This increase may be fairly rapid over the next year and a bit. The mine grades are usually blended to come up with a number to pay the development and production , explore to expand the reserves and a profit for all. I agree with Lorn it would be wrong to mine all the high grade up front. LSG is easing into the grade that is comfortable to meet all the objectives. A gram of gold right now is just over $50. Production grade of 4.4 grams per is just over $220 per ton. The production cost per ton is likely about $100 per ton. LSG is in fine shape.
