RE: Analysts Keep Recommending I've owned this stock off and on for the past two years. Right now I'm off. It never seems be able to gain any traction. Many respected analysts have recommended this stock including Eric Nuttall of Sprott, whom I consider one of the very best analysts, though not a particularly good stock picker.
The one major disturbing fact is the stock is heavily shorted. Why? No one knows. Do these market scavengers have more in depth news about the company than the rest of us? Perhaps, perhaps not. They get burnt sometimes too, though not often enough to make us small retail longs happy.
All I know is unless I see the number of shorts drastically reduced (right now about 21%!!!, no stock has more than that on the long list of stocks I follow), I would not touch LEG again if that number is not reduced to an acceptible level. Otherwise it's just dead money carrying these many shorts around.
