OPEL has in fact outperformed the market quite dramatically in 2012.

How many times have you seen a stock languishing then out of the blue a takeover bid is announced with no evidence in the trading activity prior to the announcement? In my opinion it happens more times than not with people scratching their heads saying "why didn't I see this coming"?

Scary I still very much believe that the second run-up to .74 is pretty much unexplained and I think it had something to do with meetings with Lee Shepherd or some piece of information that was floating around.
