Monti80; I assume that you hold WOF. One thing that I've observed over the years is how retail investors can express such negative views on a stock that they hold and yet do nothing about it but rant. If you feel as strongly as you seem to, then a smart investor would lessen their risk by reducing one's holdings. Perhaps buy it back later even at a higher price should cicrcumstances change to alter your view of this company and the sector.

As for the macro economic picture and the resulting impact on Tungsten prices. Step back for a minute. When IMC and WOF signed the MOU in early 2012 or for that matter the fall of 2011 when I assume IMC was already looking and doing their intial strategic DD, was the economy and the outlook better or worse than it is today? I think the answer to that question is pretty clear.

So from a strategic and a long term point of view, nothing has changed for me with respect to the reasons why IMC would want to do this deal. Does this mean that I think the deal is guaranteed to happen? of course not.
