Good news?

Good news?

Good news is rarely released on Friday, in fact, bad news is more likely to hit Friday as the longer the time between bad news and active trading the better. Good news usually comes near the beginning of the week as this keeps it fresh in the minds of traders.

I am more inclined to go with the theory that the large draw on inventories had an effect on the price. Traders using LEG as a pure play on the excess supply of oil in the states (expecting lower oil prices) may have been a little spooked by the large draw. The fact is that the US is still swimming in oil.

An interesting fact that runs counter to my theory is that the price of oil was largely unchanged today. Frankly this market is so messed up the only thing that is certain is that no-one know for certain what is going on and if they claim to they are lying.
