Hey GF, I do not think the recent price of gold will have much of an impact on the price of an OLE buyout.  I was just stating that the media makes a big deal when gold goes down but barely mentions it when it goes up.

As far as the FS, maybe OLE will use a couple of figures in their study.  Something like $1200 on the low end and $1400 on the high end.  This way they can show how much better the economics are and how much faster the project can be paid off using the higher figure. 

Lastly gold will not necessarily go down a lot when the economy comes back.  First of all the $16 trillion and growing deficit will not go away any time soon.  Second of all if the economy does perk up it is usually accompanied by some kind of inflation which is good for gold. Lastly the demand for gold will rise and we all know that there is a lack of huge production projects around the world.  Thanks GF.
