RE: Gold to be Declared Tier 1 Asset Under New Bas

I believe that the gold market is very undecided about direction as the following market sentiment chart shows very clearly

https://www.goldminerpulse.com/charts.php

IMO if the market was expecting a smooth transition of gold to a tier 1 asset then I would have expected the market sentiment for gold to be more bullish. But my reading of the Market Sentiment chart says the market is rather undecided.

Also see King World News and the last interview with Stephen Leeb for an interesting take on why gold is going to be going up this year...

https://kingworldnews.com/kingworldnews/KWN_DailyWeb/Entries/2013/1/2_This_Is_The_Year_The_Chinese_Let_Gold_%26_Silver_Prices_Fly.html

So if you are the Chinese and you want to recapitalize your banks and get rid of those bad loans, you go along with gold as a Tier-1 asset and you let gold’s value rise.  And presto, you have covered those bad loans and you’ve recapitalized your banks.
