RE: Is there any news on Husky's drilling results

RE: Is there any news on Husky's drilling results

Hello Wolfe001;

In response to your questions;

  1. Husky will not be finished testing its wells until March.  I believe the tests will meet the materiality threshold so there should be a news release.  Husky is going to frac and test  one well and just test the other as it is naturally fractured.  Not fracking the second well is amazing as most shale oil wells need fracturing to flow.
  2. Shell and Husky are not partners.  MGM and Shell are partners are partners on all the MGM lands.
  3. Shell and MGM cancelled the horizontal because the regulators wanted an enviromental review.   This was a good thing for MGM because as you said, 37 1/2% was a lot to give up for one well which would only be drilled if the first was a discovery.
