Home Run vs Base Hit
Home Run vs Base Hit Those expecting a home run with the upcoming n/r this week are simply mistaken. The home run will be when the financing is firmed up and advanced. This n/r will likely just confirm the bank completed their dd and the stratigic agreement with IMC is still moving forward as a work in progress. This will be great confirmatory news, especially if they can honestly confirm they still anticipate completion of the deal without further dilution. Yet my guess is the many recent negative posters will see it as a glass half empty as opposed to half full. It would be a bit strange if at a baseball game the hometown fans boo'ed when the hometown player hits a single (because it is not a home run), yet on this board, such is the case. Everyone gets it that it has taken longer than expected to firm up the financing, but there is no evidence the deal has fallen through, and the game is not over. Quite the opposite. No doubt the boo birds will also be critical of this post, yet they are unwilling to change teams. Why is that? Maybe because of a hidden agenda (shorts, wanting to buy in cheaper)? I welcome objective negative news, but not negativity with no factual basis.
