Yust a trade? In disclosure I own 25,000 shares. I have been averaging down
and added 5000 more today. I am constantly baffled by the way
shares in penny stocks trade. Many people will day trade these
highly speculative stocks. Low volume shares can be volatile.
In the US, the only way you can buy Tuscany without a broker
assist is to trade it on the pink sheets TIDZF. Daily volume avgs.
only 5000 shares or less. To get a fill, a person needs to place
an open limit order, and hope the share price falls to them?
Because of the exchange rates, the pink sheet symbol will oftren
float at a discount, or a higher premium to the loonie exchange
rate. Because of the lack of liquidity, you often cannot sell w/o
taking a haircut. If I spend $1000 buying 5000 shares of TID
at .20 share. I need to consider my cost basis with fees of buy
and sell commissions $8 x 2 = $16, adds 16 pts to cost.
I need to sell those 5000 shares at nearly .24 yust to break even.
I have learned over 10yrs of trading canadian penny miners and
mineral companies, that it is a casino with a big house advantage.
Be careful when you trade these guys.
