Bxju - any given drill hole can be used for the resource calculation if the data for that hole can de determined to be NI41-101 compliant. That is why if the location data, orientation data or the assay data and methods cannot be verified it will not be used. I can assure you that holes drilled from 1935 to at least 1970 will probably not be compliant. Holes from 1970ish to 1990 may be compliant if there was good collection of and organization of data and if core was very well stored. From  about 1990 onwards there is a good chance the data is compliant - if proper protocols were followed. Beleive it or not many juniors have not followed good data collection and QAQC protocols eve to this day.
