RE: Asset shuffle?

RE: Asset shuffle?

synectix...thanks for the observation! As you say, caution may be warranted, especially as we are entering earnings season, and there seems to be some trepidation out there in the markets about what earnings releases will imply. Not to mention the debt ceiling brinkmanship that US politicians seem determined to inflict upon investors and the economy come February.

On the other hand, this may just be re-patrioting stock that was 'parked' for tax reasons during the fiscal cliff saga. Could be Elliott but, if danka is correct in one of his pre-Christmas posts, their investment was due to an Oil&Gas guy who has since departed the firm, and they seem to be returning to their main area of focus in activist investing in tech stocks.

Whatever is behind the transactions, someone or group was willing to take down 500k shares at a price closer to the highs of the day than to the lows, without them having to be sold into the open market and depressing the share price. I'll interpret that as a positive for now. And, if the share price does drop back below $6, I'll use it as another opportunity to add to my position.
