The current financing is being done at a low share price (if it gets done at all) and will be very dilutive. They may even have to reduce the terms of the financing to get it completed. Suddenly you are looking at a situation where there isn't a lot of money in the bank and there are a lot more shares outstanding.
Their exploration properties are in BC, Yukon and Portugal. Based on pre-election polling BC may soon have an NDP gov which is scary for mineral explorationists. The Yukon is a bit out of favor with investors at the moment and not only that but in my opinion the properties KG has there have been worked over since the 80's and are a series of discontinuous veins with erratic grades that will be tough to promote at the best of times. Portugal... they acquired a property called Castromil which may be the same Castromil gold project that when google'd shows up as a site requiring remediation due to arsenic contamination.
Overall not a very appealing scenario in my opinion.
