The recoveries for platinum and palladium are lower indeed. (95%, 80% and 70% has also been mentioned in an old article on minesite.com in September 2012:

I would love to hear where you (Elmo) found the grades you are referring to. If I remember well, gold grades were around 20g/t, platinum 2g/t and palladium 4g/t, thus worse than you are mentioned in your example.....Or if you turn it around, if your numbers are correct, it is actually not poor news at all.....
