Rockhopper & Premier Oil are looking at exploratio

Rockhopper & Premier Oil are looking at exploratio

... offshore from South Africa, Namibia and South Mozambique.

Quote taken from the article: https://en.mercopress.com/2013/01/09/rockhopper-planning-minimum-three-wells-offshore-falklands-in-2014

"Away from the North Falkland Basin, Rockhopper is, together with Premier Oil, reported to be looking at exploration opportunities offshore from South Africa, Namibia and South Mozambique.

This is because it targets a geological province that is continuation of the Cretaceous rifted eastern margin play of the opening of the South Atlantic. The Lower Cretaceous lacustrine/marine source potential is within a primary oil window offshore South Africa and Namibia."

Thanks to User Dknow from the Aussi-board Hotcopper, who posted this in the PCL section.

ECO's IR told me last year that there are no more free blocks or licences offshore Namibia. So the only way to be part of the "games" is to farm-in somewhere.

Fingers crossed that this stock-hammering is now finished so that the share price can rise.

Have a nice day,
Neo aka tnzs
