How come no one answered your question since yesterday.

Simple answer : Depends on the stock & the specific move of the stock & circumstances & the relationship to moving averages & other indicators. Most cases the move can be a few days to a month. Vast number of moves do not last a month. Recently BAC was overbought for more than a month.  There are always exceptions.

You can look at the history as a source of some guidance. RSI can go beyond 75 too.

Long answer is going to be tooooooooooooooooo long.
