RE: RE: Everyone has there own opinions McStone I fail to see where you are going with your argument? Please provide one example of a junior that is sitting smack dab in the middle of a minimum 10 million ounce gold deposit and has proved up within it's own land package significant extensions of several huge ore bodies of gold and silver that are known to be continuous between the properties.
This is not.... will Bayview ever be bought? But rather, it's when will Bayview be bought out and for what price? I would argue that with every major hit Bayview makes on it's property like we've seen recently in the last few months the dynamics of the deal get stronger for Bayview and more timely in Rainy River's case.
The next major move in the price of gold is going bring in a whole new round of consolidations in the junior mining sector, that's a given. Don't kid yourself there is no advantage to Rainy River waiting this out as the price of gold continually rises and Bayview keeps releasing impressive results. Right now Rainy River is drawing up plans to mine the ODM 17 zone and the newly discovered high grade underground Intrepid Zone that just happens to coincidentally extend strongly across onto Bayview's property. There is no logical reason that they will not want to include Bayviews ounces of gold and silver if it enhances the economics of the entire project's bottom line. The dynamics of a rising gold price are in favour for both companies, and that's guaranteed as the US keeps printing more dollars. I agree with the poster that indicated it's going to be a share swap.
Rainy River will be the next major gold district in Canada..... 30 minutes from a resource friendly town with infrastructure and skilled labour locally in place in the one of the best political mining jurisdictions in the world.
