Baffinland plans to reduce proposed production from 18 MTA to 3.5 MTA, and 3-month seasonal shipping only. The proposed massive ice-breaking ore carriers: not going to be built. Even Arcelormittal finds it difficult to deal with mining in Nunavut. The capex and operational requirements are daunting.

According to AXI's latest presentation they plan to expand their project plan from 5.5 MTA to 8 MTA, and have 9 month shipping operation. How fanciful.
