RE: GLW thoughts

RE: GLW thoughts

Very possible.  As my friend oldtimer says it......"There's power in numbers!".....So true.

If you bake a big enough batch of cookies, it makes it difficult for a big eater to come and eat the whole works without other cookie connoisseurs noticing and doing something about it.  Our other batch of cookies (California) was baked out of Eike's kitchen and was even using his recipe!  Vetas is a different story.

My thoughts about CBJ are that we will be doing the eating in that one rather than being eaten.  Seems very simple to me.....Eike likely has made his intentions very clear at this point.  Would Hinchcliffe prefer to get a buyout of $250-$300/ounce on just their Vetas property, or that on both properties?

Do we remember what happened with EOM?  VERY strong rumors were going around that EOM was going to combine with GWY and then Eike was going to swoop down and knock them both off.  Obviously that fell apart due to the tree huggers coming out in full force against EOM.  Well, to me it seems very likely that this will now occur with GWY coming in and snagging CBJ for something in the ballpark of less than $200/ounce and then selling that to Eike for at least $250/ounce.  Price of course has to be right and this all depends on how eager CBJ is to sell.

My guess is that when (or if) CBJ is taken out, it will be an all share deal by GLW since CBJ will know the end of the rainbow regarding GLW.

Full disclosure.....No ownership, or short with CBJ.
