The Cerro Las Minas Property is located contiguous to the El Pato property in the eastern Department of Chiquimula, within the southeastern part of the Republic of Guatemala, Central America. Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Compania Minera El Condor S.A (Minera), Union de Oriente, Sociedad Anonima and El Pato Gt, S.A, (El Pato Gt).

So as far as country risk goes....could it possibly get any worse? Anyone remember that old Bruce Cockburn song ? The trouble with normal is it always gets worse !  2 murdered privately contracted security guards for what may go on to be the most important Silver mine on the planet. Where does this leave us ?  I suppose the riskier the higher the reward. This is gambling money folks...the ramifications of murdered security personnel in risky juristictions will absolutely kill our hopes here. Thoughts anyone ?
