RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Deregulation puts miners at hi 2guys, when are you going to provide any evidence for your claims? where is the evidence that Canadian regulations protect miner health, where is the evidence that CEC has a budget line to protect miner health? Contact the Ministry of Mines.... to hear their evidence of NOT providing provisions or eduction to miners re their increasing vulerability to black lung and other cancers. Check out Mine Inspector Reports that do not include any information on education programs re black lung but praise coal mines for having low accident rates. Where is your evidence to counter the explicit Provinial and CAnadian policy via Bill C38 and others that puts corporate profit ahead of the environment and miner healthPremier Clark has told the industry she will pull environmental red tape so they can maintain profits; futher she has told miners she will approve expansions without an environmental review process. Why, so companies will continue to invest in BC. She has approved hiring Chinese miners, who will work for lower wages and endure dangerous conditions. Why? Because the industry and Premier Clark put corporate profit first.
For three years you have been spouting propaganda which means claims that have yet to be supported in fact. You should be ashamed that your stock pennies are enabling an industry that is harmfuli at every stage--extraction, shipping, and burning.
surely there are better ways to make a buck unless you are getting a good salary from CEC.
