For the newbies Obviously some of you are new here, and others have forgotten. The AMF accused ORT of misstating the REE numbers. The key word being accused. They threatened them and said your numbers are off, when your about to take the industry and turn it upside down lots of people and companies have lots at stake and will try to break you. They wanted ORT to get the worlds most knowledgeable REE expert on board, Alex Knox. A lot of retail investors got spooked and tempers flared. The boards became a mess we had bashers posting 24/7. On a side note we had Kherson questioning the numbers a few weeks before the halt, what a coincidence. For those who don't know Kherson is a legend on Bay St LOL. Fast forward to the end of the halt. The expert the AMF agreed would be best proved what the AMF had suggested. The numbers were indeed off, the actual revised numbers were BETTER than the companies numbers. The companies numbers had been UNDERSTATED. To the idiot babbling about his broker friend that means management UNDERPROMISED!!
The best part of it is that the worlds greatest REE consultant, Alex Knox who is also a consultant to numerous other companies asked ORT for a job. This is a guy who got to see all the work the company had done first hand and validate all their claims and numbers. When he finished he asked for a job. This is a guy who actually understands geology and mining and is the greatest REE expert in the world. IMO he saw this and said this is unbelievable and since they (ORT) can't be beat I need to join them.
To make matters better a real, well respected analyst on Bay St who covered the company, Marc Johnson, also went to ask ORT for a job. Remember he is an analyst who actually was privy to information that the rest of us aren't and actually understands the process and he too left his 6 figure job to join the revolution known as Orbite.
