They just handed over their one and only operating project - an abject failure of management, and $500k isn't even close to enough cash to get started on a new project. Who is going to give these guys any new money? They will spend the cash to pay salaries as long as it lasts.
With low natural gas prices and the economy in the dump, there are no new PPA's for geothermal projects that need $100+ power price to get off the ground.
