RE: Percentaje Afectado del Titulo

RE: Percentaje Afectado del Titulo

Sailor, I don't understand what this map you attached is telling us? "affected titles" are those that have now been nullified? I thought all titles in the new park approved prior to the Santurban Park decision were being grandfathered as per the artcile you posted earlier. Your map implies this is not the case and that some of the mining companies have indeed had their titles within the park taken away?

also you posted this from another article......

The Minister of Mines and Energy, Federico Renjifo said companies already operating perform work within the park boundaries may continue, provided they have the appropriate permissions, but warned them not be renewed once they expire.

The official said that when the licenses expire must halt exploration activity and no new permits will be issued. "Rights are preserved for those who are exploiting and have environmental license. Finish can carry on the business until the license expires"

So this does not jive with the map you posted that shows some titles being nullified??

Do you have any thoughts on the contradiction??
