The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

Winter you sound like such a genuis. I am sure you are a very sucessful billionaire hanging around the PTA message board (Sarcasm).

For investors who would like to do some research on their investments.

I think a good comparison for PTA would be GTE. Another successful colombia play which made me a lot of money in the past and one that I sold too soon.

GTE has production about 20K Boe/Day and market cap of about 1.5 Billion.

So as a rough estimate I think for PTA to reach $1.5/share we would need about that amount of production and similar reserves.
