RE: I sent.... Received answers to all my questions today from Futura. These questions as mentioned, were not about the company but about the loyalty business in Canada.
The car dealership websites I had shown, showed both Air Milke and Aeroplan. The reason Aeroplan was with the parts/service category while Air Miles was with the cars (GM dealers only) is that Air Miles has an exclusive relationship with Goodyear Auto Centres which precludes them signing other new auto service accounts including dealerships. I assume, this is an advantage for Futura.
The Air Miles program with GM (until the end of Feburary) is temporary, as was with Aeroplan (Infiniti) last year. It was a sales promotion effort on the part of both loyalty firms. Again I assume Futura is still in the game with GM dealerships, once the promotion ends.
The above will not answer questions about Futura's restructuring efforts. but someone is at the office and takes the time to answer questions. Thanks.
