I forgot to add another oddity: The 4 terminal switch from the last CP does not appear on either of the near term products (IR sensor and OE interface). So this MS is a real mystery.

I also failed to consider that neither of the switches (3- or 4-terminal) need be better/worse, but they may be for different purposes.
