Instinet is an institutional, agency-only broker. It executes trades for roughly 1500  "buyside"  clients, such asset management firms,hedge funds, insurance co's., mutual funds and pension funds headquartered i n NYC. The company provides sales trading services and trading technologies such as the Newport EMS, algorithms, trade cost analytics, commishion management,independent research and dark pools of liquidity.  The last 8 of 9 trades at the close were done by Instinet, make of it what you will, but it looks to me like some pretty sophisticated and large institutions are cherry picking CLQ. Comments?
