Don't forget the smaller facilities and the early stage projects that are now entitled to new Obama grants .

The Company owns and operates three wind energy generation facilities in California, and one fully integrated combined wind and solar energy generation facility in Arizona. The four operating wind generation facilities are comprised of the Windridge facility in Tehachapi, California with a 4.5 MW rated capacity, the Mesa Wind facility near Palm Springs, California with a 30 MW rated capacity, the Windstar facility near Tehachapi, California with a 120 MW rated capacity and the Kingman wind and solar facility in Kingman, Arizona with a combined 10.5 MW rated capacity. The Company is further developing wind and solar energy projects in California, Arizona, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

In California and Arizona, the Company has purchased or leased land to build wind and solar power facilities. Western Wind owns more than 4,000 acres of fee simple land and leases 5,466 acres in California and 400 acres in Puerto Rico. In Arizona, the Company has entered into ground lease for 10,888 contiguous acres in Navajo County and may secure up to approximately 22,000 acres in the future, to pursue the development of a wind energy project ("Snowflake").
