Based on the money they p 1ssed away in the past, this would have been a smart investment, at a fraction of the money spent on trackers -- for a tech company to not have a backup for an expensive clean room is, well, negligent. That's about the only word I have for it.
For what it's worth, a Diesel generator (if they went with that for the lower capital outlay up front) has a magnificent invention called a "fuel tank". 2 days worth of Fuel is easily stored. I never mentioned Halon (especially since it hasn't been used in decades, it was long replaced by FM-200 which is life sustaining) -- besides that was not my point. Fire suppression doesn't generate electricity.
