But since OPEL has a market cap of 54million, and say there is a bidding war and a buyer pays 4x their market cap that's about 412million. with 118million outstanding shares, that's $3.50 a share.
This article is just a small overview (they want money for the full report) But it seems about right to me timeline wise. If OPEL has everything go well, and they are around in 5-10years -- they would definitely be worth a small fortune if they could manage to develop and license their IP.
If you look back at big acquisitions the last couple of years, I think anything more than 4-5x their market cap is unlikely. Seeing 5 billion makes me want to ask if you have any magic beans I could buy. lol
