RE: Why you should not invest in coal This is what drives me these days to oppose incredibly short sighted projects like Raven. I will admit it. I am driven by fear, by fear of the unknown as our planet changes in ways we have predicted but struggle to fully grasp and fail to attempt to reverse.
It is time we all invest ourselves, financially and mentally, in projects that could lessen the damage, we, our children, our grandchildren, and our great grandchildren will be faced with. We must reduce our energy usage. We must massively increase our clean energy production.
Please don't invest in Raven. Pull out now. I beg of you, for your children's sake.

I'm not sure I understand you chrisale. There are so many other projects that have or will have greater impact on our environment, and there's other things that pollute our air. You seem not only desperate, but are concentrating solely on the Raven, and it seems to be consuming you.
I believe there are pros and cons to everything in life. Stopping Raven seems more like a personal thing for you, rather than being something beneficial for everyone. GL
