It never ceases to amaze me the fascination of a takeover by the investors.  The reality is you don't get rich in most of the takeovers.  You make a bit of money in some, and you could lose money too - it all depends on your own entry price.

 

I had a couple of stock taken over lately.  The most recent being STO by BNE.  My gain on that deal is 28%.  A nice profit for one year but hardly getting rich.  So far the best I ever done is a double (not even a takeover) and 10 bagger are dreams only.  You can buy stocks all your life and would not stumble on one those even if your try.
