RE: Majors will survive the commodities downturn Bond. Some good points made about Cline's issues. I should add that the current spot price of premium hard coking coal is around a $160/ tonne. However, Cline's coal is a semi soft coal which normally would be priced around 70% of the benchmark hard coking coal price. When combined with their high cost structure I don't see a very economically viable operation. The returns would not be satisfactory for the amount of capital required.
One last point. Last week you were all giddy and excited about Cline being sold for $1 a share and now this week you are back to your usual self. What happened?
