RE: RE: One Stop Shopping

RE: RE: One Stop Shopping

kidl2 all good valid points and certainly worthy of discussion here.

My view falls between yours and Unlimited's

I look at what simple model we have today and then consider the future with new competition of up to 100+ billion that is expected in the relative short term.

With this in mind....Timing, strategy and execution will be of upmost importance.

I look to Apple as an example with speed to market and superior user interface.

Well, maybe not the best example as times are a changing in that space but ,my point is truly listening to the end user and giving them what they want and really need in just one package.

I listen to interviews from Franco Nevada's Pierre Lassonde with comments " that we are not a bank".

Really!? I had to play that twice...

Remember this is the biggest and longest running gold stream out there. Makes me question from a miners perspective how flexible and progressive of a partner Franco could/would be?

Traditional old financing ways have proven to be cumbersome, one sided and with very little creativity or flexibility. With financing Miners really want just one thing. and that is to reach their ultimate goal and get into production.

Will our evaluation quotient change as a result of a different business model. Its certainly possible and probable but we are only in the the first stages of this change and if we are effectively writing the new rule book I think we are in a pretty good position to break new ground which leaves the evaluation ticket open.

I think Lee Iiacoca said it " Lead ,follow or get out of the way"

This is just two but very critical points for me that I ponder when I manage my position.

There are a raft of other points that we are aware of and should and hopefully will be discussed but, I currently have the opinion that Sandstorm must continue to differentiate itself and become more of a partner through a financier one stop shop approach. This will help to secure Sandstorm's long term objective and really be THE go to streaming company of the future.

Over simplified yes, but hopefully gets some of my point across.
