I'm not sure on the implications for SND. I wouldn't be surprised to see back-to-back streaming deals between NSR and SND, since they're about the same size. A deal with a small gold component, like the Donner stream, might make sense to do through NSR. But since it wouldn't make sense for gold-focused SSL to have a large investment in a non-gold royalty company, I don't expect NSR to do many non-gold royalties (unless they want to antagonize their largest shareholder...).

I originally wondered if SSL now regretted the decision to spin out all of SND, and if they'd try to get back a significant share. But, again, if SSL's focus is gold, it doesn't seem likely.
