RE: PTA.WT - question

RE: PTA.WT - question

I don't know where you get your information about the B warrants. It is clear from the following statement that each WT.B is exercisable for one common share at a price of $0.35 per share.

Transfer agent: Computershare Trust Company of Canada
Trading symbol: PTA.WT.B
Cusip No.: 71647B139

The warrants were issued pursuant to the company's prospectus dated April 29, 2011. Each whole warrant is exercisable for one common share at a price of 35 cents per share up to Friday, May 9, 2014, from date of closing.

For further information, please refer to the company's short form prospectus dated April 29, 2011

The B warrants are very cheap right now compare to the WT warrant when you compare their respective time value, 9 cents versus 42.5 cents. The extra six months is too short to add that much value to the WT warrants. The WT warrants are dead money until the stock price increase to 60-65 cents.

If you want to play the warrants the best strategy is to buy the WT.B warrants now (and according to your past posts you have a big chunk of them) and sell them when the PTA SP reach 60-65 cents to buy the WT warrants  which will offer a higher leverage ratio at that time. The WT warrants are too expensive right now and risky in case of a takeover at say 50-55 cents per PTA share. At 55 cents. the WT.B warrants would have a minimal value of 20 cents while the WT would have a zero value.

Very dangerous game to invest in the WT warrants right now. High risk and lower leverage than the B warrants.
