Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

New info: four oldest wells at a SOR of 4x is impressive good news. Also, and help me out with this one, but if producing 1,500 average for the month at an SOR of 7 then that is 10,500 of steam. That is less than 30% capacity. That is new info to me. Certainly shows how much they are holding back. Is it possible to hold that back? Lutes also eluded to tacking on a phase 3. That would bump proven reserves big time in the short term and put them on a path to 55-60k bbl/d which would be very good news. They prove they can do it "the right way" on phase one and no way can the stock hang here. 60k @ $75-$120k a producing bbl...... Probably open Down though.
