More reasons to vote NO.... Even AVF shareholders realize that this deal is their 'white knight' going forward. These are a couple of posts to AVF bullboard by RIG500, if I may quote:
1) What is AVF Worth?
For all those investors in AVF voting against the deal, where do you expect AVF to trade at if the deal fails?
Remember, you won't get a dividend and ER is history....(ER was paying most of the dividend)
~3,130 boed @ $20 netbacks = ~$23M or $0.43 cents a share using 54 OS.
How much do you think AVF is worth at 2x CF? Not even $1.....good job voting against the deal!
I'd love to hear your scenarios....
2) Hidden Interests
There are a lot of sharks around AVF, it's a great short if the deal fails. The share price will collapse as a result, there's a lot of money on the line. Obviously a lot of these traders playing this game will do their best on these public forums to bash the deal. Don't be fooled by all the "shareholders" voting no ....
It would be interesting to see CPP's reasons for voting against, but I suspect they were the same as mine, as I have outlined in previous posts, and those of Nova Bancorp. I look forward to new management turning Pace around after the deal fails. There is good value here, it is just poorly promoted and managed, IMHO. WKH
