RE: RE: LOGIC? Sorry not applicable

Intravires, I think you seem to be a pretty level-headed fellow as well, but to suggest that WND might get $5/share is just not on the table. I have done uncounted hours upon hours of research and calculations, coming up with what I believe the company is worth. I have had to do that on my own, as we have gotten nothing from WND.  I know WND should bring at least $3.50, but I don't buy the line that other potential bidders are waiting for BEP to step aside.

If another buyer stepped up with a bid that BEP did not want to match, I doubt very much that BEP would retain their shares and disrupt the operations of the new owners. That would not be in their best interests, as they deal with these other large companies every day. They all belong to the same club. They do not deal with companies like WND unless they want to buy them out, and WND does not belong to their club.

But if there is another bidder contemplating a competing bid, there is no way they would wait until after the vote on Monday. If they wanted the company, they would never take that chance. After what has transpired over the last week, it will be too close to call. And they would not hesitate to bid, for the reasons stated in the above paragraph.

Of course, if BEP does win this round, the minority shareholders can, and probably will, hold out for a sweeter bid on their shares. But they would finally have to come up with a third-party valuation to justify a higher price, and the resulting battle could last a considerable time.

So, I have asked myself if I am willing to wait to receive an undetermined additional sum, and the answer is a resounding NO. That is a personal decision, and I do not expect anyone to act on anything that is posted on this board. My gawd, after reading some of the trash that gets posted here, why would they?

Obviously, everything that is written on this board is the opinion of each individual author, and what we write is just a reflection of what we believe to be most likely. We do not have access to the data room, and don't really have that much information to form a truly accurate assessment. I am guessing, as is everyone here, and it is a very uncomfortable position to be in. I suppose that also enters into my decision to tender, as I dislike uncertainty.

But, maybe BEP will lose, Yabucoa will close next week, and we will get a big bid before the end of the month! Truly, anything can happen.

For those who do not tender, and for WND itself, I hope it all works out for the best. We shall know more in a few days.
